Cubism

Cubism was a avant-garde art style pioneered by Georges Braque and Pablo Picasso during the early 20th Century. Cubism inspired and influenced movements in art, architechture, literature and music. As a visual style, Cubism decimates the concept of a fixed viewpoint, opting instead to depict the subject through intersecting fragments and primitive shapes, resulting in an ambigious and often incoherent representation that can have multiple interpretations.
